Courses for Smallholders

We are thinking of holding a number of “livestock experience” weekends during the summer months, with the intention of providing a “taster” for anyone new to keeping livestock. Clients will be fully involved in the day to day routine of caring for sheep, cattle (including milking), pigs etc, and also learn to carry out basic husbandry tasks such as hoof clipping sheep, dehorning calves, dagging & dosing and much more. These weekend courses will be held purely in response to demand, so if you feel that you would benefit from this experience,

please contact us.

(Accommodation may be arranged with local farmhouse B & Bs)
