Smallholder’s Livestock Handling Course

23rd - 25th May 2009

A “hands on” weekend course, with the emphasis on practical stockmanship - concentrating on all the things that can’t be learnt from books!

Participants will be fully involved in the day to day routine of caring for sheep, cattle (including milking), pigs etc, and also learn to carry out basic husbandry tasks such as hoof clipping sheep, dehorning calves, dagging & dosing and much more.
